This is the hottest new eyebrow trend that will leave you with fuller and natural-looking eyebrows.
What is Eyebrow Microblading?
Unlike every eyebrow pencil that wipes off at night before you go to sleep, eyebrow Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure.
A handheld microblading pen is used to draw on strokes that mimic the appearance of real brow hairs. While this is a similar process to getting a tattoo, the ink that we use is far less concentrated than a regular tattoo and is specifically formulated for the Microblading process.
Why Should You Consider Microblading?
While there are so many eyebrow products on the market, Microblading gives you fuller, natural-looking eyebrows. The best part? Microbladed brows don't require the hassle of fixing them every morning. You'll be able to go without the worry of fading or smudging throughout the day.
How Long Does Microblading Last?
Unfortunately they do not last forever, BUT they do last way longer than any eyebrow pencil or gel.
Depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and products that are often used, Microblading can last anywhere from one to three years. However, touchups are recommended for some to keep a consistent natural look.
What Happens During an Appointment?
After the area is sanitized and numbed, the desired eyebrow shape will be drawn on.
In order to keep a true natural-looking brow, the technician normally follows the direction of the brow hairs while taking in the consideration of the clients face symmetry and age. The pigment of the ink is then discussed and typically chosen based off of the natural color of the brow hairs and the skins undertone.
The entirety of the process can take anywhere from 2 - 2.5 hours.
